Sotirios Anagnostopoulos

Mr. Sotirios Anagnostopoulos is a PhD Candidate in Health Informatics at the Department of Nursing of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (N.K.U.A.). He holds a Master's Degree in Health Informatics from the same Department He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Technical University of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace - Department of Mechanical Engineering. His research interests focus on 3D Printing in health, 3D Technology and applications for Special Education and also Adult Education, Artificial Intelligence in health. He has participated as an adult educator in the Center for Continuing Education and Lifelong Learning (C.C.E.L.L.) program of the N.K.U.A: "Training of Nurses in Nursing Informatics and Information and Communication Technologies". He has also attended the e-learning programs of the N.K.U.A.: 1)"Computer programming with Python: Business, Digital Skills", and 2)"Entrepreneurship and Strategy Formation for the Future in an Uncertain Environment". He is a member of Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE-TCG) as well as member of Greek Biomedical Informatics and Health Informatics Association (GBHI).

Teacher of Computer Science in Secondary Education from 2003 to date with experience and background in the field of computer science. Holder of a Master's Degree in "Health Informatics" and PhD candidate in the same subject at the University of Athens, with the topic "Simulation Models in Nurses' Education for Problem Solving in Health Care Management". I have also worked as a computer technician and computer network engineer in the private sector. I have been a certified adult educator since 2006, having taught over 2000 hours of IT and networking courses in Adult Vocational Training Schools. I have an excellent command of English (C2 level), specialization in the use of ICT in the teaching of IT, and considerable training in pedagogical methods.
