
Dr. Vassiliki Koufi is Laboratory Teaching Staff at the School of Information and Communication Technologies of the University of Piraeus and a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Digital Systems of the University of Piraeus, Greece. She received her bachelor's degree from the Department of Informatics at the University of Piraeus, her master's degree in "Data Communication Systems" from Brunel University, United Kingdom, and her PhD from the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus. From 2002 to 2015 she worked as a network engineer at the Network Management Center of the University of Piraeus. Dr. Vassiliki Koufi has extensive teaching experience, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, at several academic institutions (National Kapodistrian University of Athens, University of Western Attica and Hellenic Air Force Academy). She has been involved in several projects concerning the development of web-based healthcare information systems as well as the development and management of network services and applications. She has published several research papers in internationally refereed journals, international conferences and books. Her research interests include ubiquitous and pervasive healthcare, process-oriented and cloud-based health information systems, personal health records, health information system security, big data analytics and business process analytics.

Marianna Isaakidou is a graduate of the Department of Methodology, History and Theory of Science of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA). She holds a Master's degree in “Economics and Business Strategy” from the Department of Economic Science of the University of Piraeus (PAPEI), as well as a Master's degree in “Organization and Management of Health Services - Health Informatics” from the Department of Nursing of the Hellenic University of Athens. She is currently a PhD candidate of the Department of Nursing of the N.C.P.A. and works as a teacher of Secondary Education. As an associate of the Department of Nursing, she is responsible for the updating of the Department's website as well as the administrative and secretarial support of the Interuniversity-Interdepartmental MSc “Health Services Organization and Management - Health Informatics”. She has worked as a teacher in Secondary Education Tutorial Schools and Study Centres, in accounting and secretarial offices and for several years she worked at the Bank of Greece. She has attended seminars and trainings on education, special education, adult education, psychology, economics, entrepreneurship, human resources management, IT, e-health and artificial intelligence in education and health. She has participated in several research projects at the Department of Nursing, School of Nursing, UCA. She has participated in international as a member of the Organizing Committee and as a referee with published papers in health informatics. Her research interest focuses on issues related to education and health, especially through artificial intelligence and machine learning.

Mrs Martha Charalambidou is a graduate of the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a specialization in Electronics, Computers, Telecommunications and Automation. She holds a Master's degree in 'Health Informatics' from the Department of Nursing of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has experience in Research Programs / European Projects in the field of Health Informatics and Εducation as she participated in several of them of the Informatics Laboratory in the Department of Nursing (coordinator or participating Organization), as a researcher or as administrator. Mrs Charalambidou has also participated in international conferences as a member of the Organizing Committee, as an Editor, Reviewer and with published papers in the field of 'Health Informatics'. She is currently working as administrative staff in the Department of Nursing of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, providing Administrative Support for the postgraduate program: 'Healthcare Management - Health Informatics'.
